What this app does

Artist Opportunities is a personal tool that gathers open calls, grants, residencies, and other opportunities for artists, and matches them to your artistic practice and goals. You sign in with your Google account to see opportunities curated for you.

Information we collect

• Google account basics — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID. We use these only to create and identify your account.
• Profile information you provide — details you enter during onboarding (such as your disciplines, location, and goals) are used only to match and rank opportunities for you.
• Google Calendar access (optional) — if you choose to connect your calendar, we request the calendar.events permission and use it for one purpose: creating events on your calendar for opportunity deadlines you ask us to track. We do not read, list, or modify your existing calendar events.

How your data is stored and protected

Your account data is stored in a hosted database. Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.

Google user data and Limited Use

Artist Opportunities' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deleting your data

You can revoke this app's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page. To delete your account and all associated data, email evanlivingston@gmail.com and we will remove it promptly.
